Meet the Firms night is one of the most
important events of the semester. It gives an
opportunity to the students to meet many
accounting firms and learn about each firm. This
event gave me a chance to meet many firms and
find out about internship opportunities, which
eventually turned into the future employment
offers.

Meet the Firms is an excellent program created, developed and
maintained by the Accounting and IS department.
I was able to network, socialize, and retain
valuable information from recruiters of the
biggest and best firms and companies in the
industry. The exposure will only set one
up for greater success post college and the
opportunity to potentially have a career path
set prior to graduation. I still remain in
close contact with the recruiters I have
networked with at the Meet the Firms event to
this day.

Meet the Firms provided me with the opportunity
to network with various firms. I was able to
speak to many of the representatives and find
out specifically what they were looking for in a
candidate. Through MTF, I connected with dozens
of industry professionals, which eventually lead
to a summer internship.
